Company Overview
CVM Precision Products Pvt Ltd has been in the business of manufacture and export of high precision gears since 1971. CVM manufactures both Automotive & Industrial Application gears for a varied range of applications. The Company's product range includes Spur gears, Helical gears, Pinions, Spline shafts, Sprockets, Timer Pulleys, Automotive Races and Machined parts.
CVM operates out of a TS16949 (2009) Quality certified plant in Bangalore, INDIA. CVM exports more than 70% of the gears manufactured to USA, Germany, Czech Republic, Switzerland & Italy. The company has been recognised by the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry for its outstanding contribution to engineering exports. For seven consecutive years the Company has bagged the All India Award for Star Export Performer. CVM also has the unique distinction of being a 100% woman owned enterprise.
Mangement
CVM Precision Products Pvt. Ltd. was established in 1971 in Bangalore, India by Mr. C. M. Velayudhan. He was a technocrat with unmatched experience in Gear manufacturing processes. He built a robust business and instilled the following core values as part of the work culture:

Today the company's core strength is a team of dedicated and quality conscious personnel. The Company is currently managed by the founder's daughters and has the unique distinction of being a 100% woman owned enterprise. CVM encourages the employment and empowerment of women and is proud to be one of the few companies in the manufacturing sector to have around 25% women as part of the organisation. Extensive class room, as well as on-the-job training is imparted in the basics of engineering and gear technology to encourage women to take on skilled and leadership positions.

Gears supplied by CVM to Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) have been used on the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV D5 flight ) which was successfully launched on Jan 5th 2014. CVM has received a certificate of appreciation for their contribution in this prestigious project.
